Scheduling Dilemma

Heres what my schedule looks like next year

AP Spanish (I want to do this)
AP Chemistry (I need to take this: I'm doing Bio now and don't like Physics)
AP Calculus BC (My mom wants me to take this. I'm taking Calc AB now)
AP Statistics (I heard its an Easy AP so I want to take this)
AP Modern European History (I'm kind of impartial to this)
AP Music Theory (I want to take this)

Is this a rigorous enough schedule for ivies? (I'm taking 3 APs now: US history, calc AB, and Bio. I did AP world history sophomore year)... Should I drop something, because I don't want to take 6 APs... Should I not do Calc BC because I'm doing AB calc now?

Scheduling is due tomorrow, so I need some advice

bump.........

Is Calc BC meant to be taken after Calc AB at your school?

I don't see any literature or english there...don't most places want 4 years?

^oops, I forgot to put in world literature... (I HATE english)

and to b@rlum, not they aren't. Senior year, you have to choose between AB and BC calc... I'm taking AB calc now because I'm ahead a year in math, and I can take BC next year if I want.

7 classes?

^Yeah... I feel like dropping either BC calc or AP euro though... Not sure if my asian mom will let me..

I wouldn't take Calc BC just for the sake of having in on my transcript. You already know 3/4 of the stuff and you will have plenty of work to do for your other classes. (If you want to know the other 1/4 of Calc BC, you can still join the class 2nd semester).
Overambitious parents are no fun...

As long as your app is solid everywhere else, I wouldn't worry about not taking BC

how much of BC overlaps with AB (like the exact same material)

I say if you don't like the Calc BC then screw it! It's going to be your senior year and your schedule is stressful enough. Take an easy class to help the year go more smoothly, because you are sure to get senioritis, and you don't want it to totally screw you over!
