Well, a lot of this is covered in the thread located here:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/indiana-university-bloomington/701175-kelley-da-finance-major-what-courses-should-i-take-first-semester.html

but to summarize, do something like the following:

First semester:

BUS A100 (first eight weeks)–super tough–and used as the “weed-out” course (a 1 unit course)
BUS X220 (second eight weeks)–if you can get in–this course tends to get booked early (a 2 unit course)–if you can’t get this course, then you should sign up for a different 3 unit course–probably something from the “general ed” area that isn’t too tough–like the three I mention below (History, Anthropology, Telecommunications)
BUS X100 Introduction to Business–try to get Kanning for this course, he’s good
MATH M118 Finite Math–McKinley is probably your best professor for this class
CMCL C121 Public Speaking
A course such as History H101 or Anthropology A105 or Telecommunications T206

Second semester:
MATH M119-Survey of Calculus I
BUS K201-The Computer in Business
BUS G202 Corporate Social Strategy (only a 2 unit course)
ECON E201–Microeconomics or ECON E202–Macroeconomics (only E201 is needed to get into I-Core, but you will have to take both of these courses eventually anyway to graduate with a business degree, so it doesn’t really matter which one you take first). Try to avoid Olson for E201, he’s really tough, so try to get Self or some other professor instead.
A course such as History H102 or Philosophy P105

Notice that I changed one thing from the other thread–I’m suggesting that you take BUS K201 in the second semester instead of the first. The reason for this is that it is probably the second toughest class you will take on this list, right after BUS A100. For this reason, I suggest you take these two classes in separate semesters.

If you follow this schedule, you’ll be taking 15 units the first semester and 14 the second semester.

Good luck.

thanks i wasn’t sure if all these kelley freshman courses applied to non kelley students :P
