I was accepted Early Action into the College of Engineering. I was wondering how many other scholarships require extra applications because Michigan said that they would automatically consider admitted applicants for all scholarships. I submitted some for a few, but I’m unsure whether or not they were needed. In addition, does anyone know when scholarship and financial aid decisions will be released? Thanks.
I know the Geisinger was released last week (I got an email notifying me of my rejection, others reported letters notifying of their award) and others also reported receiving the Engineering Scholarship of Honor.
Also someone in the EA thread said official Financial Aid packages would come out Friday, so I’d imagine some scholarships will be awarded then as well.
EA applicants would be automatically considered for merit scholarships (but not ALL scholarships). There are still some that require separated application like Belle’s or by invitation. Estimated FA packages should start coming out in early to mid March. Scholarships award notices have started coming out around a month ago and there may be still some left. For CoE, you likely need perfect GPA and ACT >35 to get the major scholarships.
Do you have to get on Michigan email or anything to receive Geisinger notification? Does it go to your personal email listed on file?
@Commiserating, Geisinger notification is sent by snail mail only.
