This was posed on the Facebook Admissions site today: “Are you referring to the Scholarship Competition tests? I believe all (or almost all) of the tests have been scored and decision letters are in the mail.”

I called Marquette today and asked about the club scholarships and the English scholarship test, and was told we would be notified by a letter by the end of the month. That it wouldn’t show up in our financial aid yet. Looks like this info is also on the facebook website linked above.

Just received the “not selected” letter from the engineering scholarship competition. We weren’t overly optimistic, especially after hearing that 577 students were present to take the exam. :o We did tour a couple of dorms, though, to narrow down choices. Met some very fun and engaging students.

On the positive side, both my son’s and my NCAA brackets have Marquette making it to the Sweet 16! :)

Actually, considering that before the season began they were picked to finish 12th in the Big East and maybe win 10-12 games and ended up winning 22 and finishing 5th I think they FAR exceeded my expectations. While disappointed with “how” they lost, I enjoyed watching this MU team more than any MU team in a long while…they did cause my blood pressure to soar most games since they played so many down to the wire but they overachieved, showed great team cohesion and played their butts off…leaving it all on the floor. For an undermanned team with little-to-no height, they had a HUGE heart.

I’m going to miss Hayward’s leadership and character but think that the team is in great hands for the future with Buzz at the helm.

eadad – my sentiments exactly. The season was pure gravy and this was a team with lots of heart.
On Muscoop, they are already starting the “who will woo Buzz away?” threads. Hope that doesn’t happen for a long time.

We finally called MU today since we never heard about the results of the Health Sciences competition. Apparently the letters went out three weeks ago but people have been calling to say they never got their letter.

If you are still waiting on any of the competitions, you can supposedly check your financial aid and it would have shown up on there already.
