I;m personally waiting for the Visual Art Scholarship and I am so nervous. I wish they would just email or send a letter. So much more definite than a phone call!!!</p>

<p>Since we’ve not heard of any calls being made to scholarship recipients other than Danforth, I’d say it means there are many calls to come. So, that’s good news.</p>
<p>Which ones did y’all apply for? I just applied to Moog and Summer Scholars as well as USP because i didn’t think i had a chance for the ‘community’ or ‘unity’ based ones.</p>

<p>Danforth and Lien. I’m already in Wash U from early decision, but it would be really nice not to have to worry about finances. Obviously I think my only shot is for Lien because the Danforth people were called yesterday.</p>
<p>It’s now 3 pm in the east and no calls have been reported on CC today. I wonder if that means we have to wait until next Saturday.</p>

<p>We will not have to wait until next Saturday because they said within a week on Friday. So optimally it will occur in the middle of this next week.</p>
<p>Last year some heard at 5 PM, so, based on empirical evidence, your reasoning isn’t wholly correct tokdoc (though your conclusion might be right in the end…).</p>

<p>I agree with motion12345 that we still have time today 1) because it just seems so weird to me that only 2 people have reported being called and 2) because I really don’t think I could make it through another couple of days.</p>
<p>Motion: I hope you’re right. It looked to me like the 5 pm time applied more to calls last year on Saturday, but I would be happy to be wrong and see a flurry of calls reported in the next few hours. The waiting is tough, indeed.</p>
