<p>Son got an email today … did not get the dean/danveport scholarship… but he is still looking considering Vtech and BC, Uof Michigan and Purdue. Waiting for FA packages.</p>

<p>My D got the Dean’s scholarship today! She applied regular decision to the engineering school.</p>
<p>Unfortunately got denied the scholarship, but I was expecting that. It is pretty competitive to get!

Exactly how competitive is it? I’m the valedictorian of my high school and I’ve had an awfully hard time getting merit scholarships</p>

According to the email over 1350 students applied & in years past 15-25 students were awarded the scholarship - extremely competitive.</p>
