Hello. I was recently awarded the deans scholarship from the University of Miami. However, the school just costs so much. It is one of my top choices. I recently discovered that the school sometimes decides to 'upgrade' scholarships. Is this true? If so, how do I go about increasing my chance of 'upgrading' my scholarship? Thank you very much.

I got an extra $4,000 annually from UM in addition to my original scholarship package. I interviewed with the Dean of my school during the Singer weekend, however.

Thats really cool, congratulations. I am visiting the school in march. I do not believe it is during singer weekend. However, is it possible to maybe speak with financial aid office then. Would that help me? Should I write a letter, or call them? Thank you very much for your response, I appreciate it, and congratulations.

Bump…
