School Supply List

Ticonderoga pencils
Black and blue pens
Binder paper (college ruled!)
Notebooks
Binders (5 different colors - last year, I had 2 whites and 2 greens. I always switched them at the worst times possible, which killed my grades...)

all I need is a pencil/pen.

everything else is superfluous. that's right.

I'm usually all over those back to school specials, but as a senior, I've accumulated LOTS of school supplies over the year. The stuff I have could probably last 4 years of high school again. I have enough paper, folders, report covers, highlighters, notebooks, cheap pens, mechanical pencils, and binders to last for a while.

I have a thing for nice (but not too expensive) pens, so I'll probably pick up a few G-2s and Zebra F-301 Compact. I want a TI-89 Titanium, but my mom thinks the 84+ Silver is enough...ha, she hasn't done Calculus.

5-6 binders, 1 inch
Loose-leaf paper, college-ruled
Pens

2 Pencils

I already have a graphing calculator

I have the TI-84 Silver Edition. WooT!!

wow, lol

I'm going to buy one off ebay or craigslist...

The usual:
-Binders (possibly one or two because I can still reuse some of my old binders from sophomore year)
-Pens
-Lead
-Loose-leaf paper
-Dividers
-Planner
-May get a TI-83 or I might just wait a few months before I take the SATs for the first time.
Post-Its

Purchased a great LL Bean backpack last weekend - I love it!

I have nothing to get because I kind of went overboard summer of my freshman year. I still have maybe 12 unopened packets of college-ruled filler paper on the shelf which I brought when it was 10 cents a pack.

I have about another 12 packs of 10 Papermate pens, also unopened. Last summer I went to Sam's Club and brought a huge supply of white-out, which are mostly unopened too.

As for pencils, I have a mechanical one that I have been using for 4 or 5 years now. Plenty of lead at home too...

No more supply shopping for me till I graduate from college :(

LOL.
American Eagle tote
1 inch binder
Pens
Pencils
College ruled Paper
Dividers
Notebooks

This is what I got:
~About 60 1-subject notebooks (I don't need that much, but the notebooks were on sale so I bought them)
~60 wood pencils

I will probably do some more shopping later on to get pens.

Tons of Loose Leaf paper(college ruled)
2 Spiral ringed notebooks
Pencils
Pens
A good calculator
Bookbag
8 Binders
Blah Blah Blah

I don't like listing it. I like shopping for it and being spontaneous!

A few binders
Like 5 notebooks (college ruled)
Lots of mechanical pencils with lead and eraser refills

Ticonderoga #3 Lead Pencils (and some #2 for standardized testing ;))
College-ruled loose leaf paper
Pens (I don't remember what brand, but I got black and blue)
Lined Index Cards
College-ruled notebooks w/ a plastic-like cover (varying sizes depending on the class)
Targus backpack from Staples (I tried this brand after my other one broke midyear and it works very well)

I have my calculator already from freshman year - TI-84+SE, and I would recommend it to everyone.

omg So glad I am not alone. I used to LOVE school supply shopping. I would get such an exciting tingle down there when I'd come home with my supplies all smelling fresh and new and waiting for school to start. As I got older, I realize that I needed less and less school supples and I was sad. Now, I am in college. No supply list whatsoever. tear

Last year, I bought:
* a backpack
* lots of Five Star college-ruled notebooks (on sale)
* lots of college-ruled looseleaf (on sale)
* 3 in. binder per crazy teacher's request (used perhaps twice during the whole year)
* index cards
* I dunno, some other stuff...

This year, I have a lot of it already (leftover notebooks and looseleaf, mostly... those sales make you OD on school supplies).

I think it seriously obnoxious that my mom's not letting me buy ANYTHING until I get "supply" lists from my teachers. Too bad she forgot I'm not in 2nd grade...... Damn! All the good stuff will be gone!!!!!!

Yeah our school won't give supply lists till school starts.
All I need this year though [that I don't already have] =
Some new notebooks
Like one new pencil

No, I'm not dirt poor, I just don't feel the need to re-buy everything I already have.

My mom is convinced I only need pens, notebooks and the basics, when I've already been told everything I need for a few of my classes. (I'm getting the teachers for another year so i found out what I needed efore school got out.)

Here's what I bought last year and all but the binders lasted me through the year.

3 binders- 2 for morning/afternoon classes and 1 for a req. for a class.
4 boxes of Pencils- The hardwood kind.
4 pkgs of looseleaf- College-ruled
Found some unused highlighters and erasers, but I lost them before I got around to using them.
Lots of you guys are getting new backpacks... I've been using the same once since 8th grade :)

Pens
Pencils (mechanical)
Binders
Highlighters
Loose-leaf
Dividers
Stapler
Staples
Scissors
Calculator
And whatever else my teachers tell me to get.
