<p>Is there a difference between these two bachelor's degrees? I'm inclined to think 'no' because few institutions tell you on their websites what you would actually get, I'm just curious.</p>
<p>From my experience at the few college presentations I attended with my daughter, teaching science at the secondary level requires a BS in the actual science field (bio, chem, physics). Then, the graduate can either get a teaching certificate or get a MA in education to get into the classroom.</p>
