Hi everyone!
This is my first thread so I’m very new to this so bear with me!
I am entering my senior year and Emerson college is at the top of my list. I would like to go into the screenwriting major because it is extremely similar to playwriting, in fact almost identical.
However, my portfolio, since my high school career began, has been over run with plays and I have not actually written a screenplay before…
That being said, would it be alright for me to send in my plays rather than screenplays because of the sheer similarity between the two? Or will I be wasting my time?
