Second Semester Grades

<p>I was accepted to Oberlin early decision and, as expected, received a slip saying that my acceptance was conditional on my grades. Now, my counselor told me that I was going to have to send in a midyear score report but didn't mention anything about an end of year score report. I just want to know if one is sent at the end of the year. Its not that I plan on failing all my classes, but I would love to be able to relax and get mainly Bs instead of trying incessantly for the "standard" A. </p>

<p>Would they be likely to rescind my acceptance if I got B's or C's or only if I failed classes? I've heard some horror stories and some ones that promise inaction from colleges so I wanted to hear what ya'll thought. </p>

<p>Check with Oberlin; very rare that an ED acceptance requires mid-year report; my daughter’s acceptance letter from a different school stated “final transcript” required…</p>

<p>and sorry, I don’t know Oberlin’s policy on rescinding; my daughter at her school has been told that C’s and higher are ok</p>
