This second semester, will I have to worry about my grades very much? Because my grades will come out after acceptance/rejection letters.

Also, I was planning on doing an internship, which is suppose to be a big part of my resume. but now I can only do it in the spring, which starts after deadlines. Would that affect me in any way?

If your grades drop a lot (as in to Cs, Ds, Fs) your acceptances could be rescinded. So worry, but don't worry at the same time :) .

About the internship, you could say on your apps that you have been accepted to the program (or whatever happened) and you will be doing an internship in the spring.

As for the internship, book_worm thought of something that I never would have thought of. As a rising senior, I would say you'll be relieved after applications (maybe not due to acceptances in April) and either way, you'll just have more fun. If you don't think about keeping a super amazing gpa, but still attempt to do well, you'll be on your way to the right balance.

I kind of slacked off second semester senior year and ended up with a C in one of my classes. (I got As in all of my other classes though so my GPA wasn't that bad). I was not rescinded or even asked for a letter of explanation.
