Actually, you have to qualify for need-based aid in order to receive the scholarship so yes, you should apply for aid.
Yeah, but nearly everyone in India wants to do engineering. During my year at Aditi, people ONLY talked about engineering or business haha.
BTW, I remember reading about this girl (on CC) from India who ended up with full-aid from Tufts (which is renowned for it’s stinginess in International financial aid). So, don’t worry, you still have a chance with need-aware schools!
I actually recommend looking into Harvey Mudd College. A guy from my class received pretty decent aid there.</p>
