Since these classes are not offered by my school, and I am really interested in all three, what would be the best approach to self studying these classes my sophomore year? What are the best study books/tools to buy for these subjects? Any other advice?

Thank you very much!

i self studied mac and mic this year. i got the mcconnell and brue textbook called economics.

i also got the macro and micro AP student activity workbooks. and i got the princeton review prep book.

make sure u dont wait till the last minute. i started myself at the beginning of october and finished in time for may ap exams.

good luck

I am selfstudying for macro/micro this upcoming year too. =]

I was going to selfstudy art history but everybody told me it was nearly impossible so I am taking it at a local college instead.

so you think AP art history is to hard to self study?!

I don't know personally, that's just what I was told. I'm taking it at a CC anyways so that I can get my art credit for UC schools.

If you want to self-study art history, get the REA book and make sure you study not only the main chapters but each of the artists it lists in the last section...you should do fine. I'm in the class, yeah, but I didn't learn anything there. In my school, it's basically a freebie course. It's not rigorous in the slightest, and if you want to learn anything you have to do it yourself.
