I'm a junior and April 1st going to be my first SAT test. Right now, I haven't chosen any schools to send my scores to yet (you get your four free score sendouts). How does this work really? I mean I won't be applying till much later this year, so I guess collegeboard sends out my scores and those colleges just stores them for a while? I don't know if I want to send my scores because I don't know how good i'll do. Should I wait until I take my ACT in June to decide to send the SAT or ACT, or should I just pick 4 of my top choice schools to send my April 1st dscores.

If you're confident about your SAT scores, you can pick your 4 top choice schools. If not, I suggest that you don't put in anything. It's not an obligation to fill that portion out, so it's best to leave it blank if you don't know how well you will do on the SAT.
