how much of a drop in grades would cause one to get rescinded?

I think a D or an F could cause one to be rescinded.

only the final term grade matters rightt? the one we we get in june?
not the first marking pd grade or 2nd?

thank goodness, yes, just the final term grade...If your school only provides one final grade...otherwise, two semester grades....

whew!
thanks!

hehe which means if i get a D in calc, it'll only be avged with my A first semester =)..........not that im getting a D or anything....really

so would they average the two semester grades...or look at them seperately (even though they've already seen your first semester grades from your midyear report)?

One school told me that if you get an F contact the dean. Other than that, they just say good academic and disciplinary standing.

Your quarter grades get averaged into two semester grades and they look at them separately. They've already seen the first semester grades on the mid-year report though, so I guess when you send the final transcript at the end of the year (with the second semester grades on them) they're just checking that you didn't totally give up after you got your acceptance...so definitely no F's and, for most schools, no D's either.

if you're asking this question to find out how much you can slack off, I suggest you don't do it. I did it and now I'm working my butt off trying not to get rescinded and to not lose my scholarships (which is what will more likely happen).
