Rachel. It’s not 85 degrees outside.

Not where you are, and it’s nighttime, of course it’s not 85° right now. It’s supposed to go up again next week (80s I think it said).

Heck naw that’s too hot. But recently her we had a powerful blizzard.

Blizzards, I don’t think I’ll be a huge fan of. Although, I did get this really great winter coat last year. It works so well. We went up to WY last winter, and I was not cold at all. It’s one of those that keeps in your body heat. I <3 it. (I picked it out for Christmas last year.)

Freedom and the opportunity to start over!

@Rachel: there is no point in buying a winter coat for a blizzard if you can’t go outside…
But good call. The Midwest have some weird weather pattern these years. it’s like you can get 70 one day n then low 20 the next day. Basically you’ll need clothes for every season. Even in the middle of winter!!

Mostly independence the chance to have others like me. My high school has a lot of kids who have no goals, whatsoever. The girls are just an added bonus :D

I’m really excited for the opportunity to have independence and rely on myself rather than my parents!

Less parental control - It is not like I am going to do anything wild, I just want to do my stuff without being scrutinized.

More course freedom - I am sort of tired of taking English every year. I just want to take more computer science, mathematics, and physics courses instead of it.

Higher female ratio (If I attend UNC) - This would mean a better dating pool, which would make it easier for me to form relationships.

More freedom between classes - I look forward in spending that hour between two periods by playing video-games and watching anime, instead of getting bored out of my mind during lunch.

Less streamlined curriculum - Current school does not offer a bunch of post-calculus class such as MVC and AP Physics C because they do not allow non-Seniors to take calculus, jumbling up the top students’ schedule.

Better climate (If I attend a northern school) - Personally, I find that the south is too hot for me.

Being able to use my AP credits (If I attend a public school) - Self-explanatory. I have calculated that just with my last year’s worth of AP credits I would have about a semester’s worth at UNC. This will help get rid of the introductory classes and possibly even give me more time to work on my majors or give me more free time.

Intellectual student body - I would like to talk to people about ideas, knowledge, and experiences, less about the current street trends and popular culture.

More options - Due to budget cuts, my current school does not have any science clubs save for the Science Olympiad. So I will finally be with people who share the same interests.

My pens shall not die from writing pointless notes and copying down vocabulary words from the book.

3 non-math/science courses left thanks to APs/transfer credit and I’ll be putting the Mathletes/Science Olympiad to use in the rest of college! How fun! And it’s a major that I’m doing in Sci-Oly right now and I love it, and plan to dominate at the competition, likewise, I plan to dominate the college courses :)

Ah, and it’s a fair game for top of class too, not dealing with my straight B’s in English 9th, 10th, 11th + AP Lang and finally getting an A in AP Lit…

Taking classes that are more interesting than high school courses. I love browsing colleges’ course catalogs and seeing all the unique courses.

Clubs! I can’t wait to join college clubs with people who are really passionate about things.

Being in a new place. My town is depressingly small with nothing to do; I can’t wait to be close to/in a city.

-I think I would enjoy a new laptop far advanced then anyone in my family will have for another year once they buy me one.
-I’m looking forward to actually working on Campus.
-I’m expecting to buy my own PS4 when it come out in about a year or 2.
… (now this is assuming I actually get into my dream college, Purdue)
-Leaving this area. I need to go somewhere new or else I’ll feel unmotivated. I just can’t stand repetitiveness, especially if it been 17 years of mostly the same stuffs.
-Looking forward to start traveling places on breaks. I don’t intend to go home all winter holiday break lmao.
