LOL mollieB!! New england chowdah!! with oystah crackahs puleeze

My mom told me at Christmas that I’m starting to sound like I’m from “out East” (after almost eight years out here). I am not sure what that means, but I assure everyone that I have never dropped an “r” in my life.

^^ there’s always a first time

When my freshman roommie said she was going to a potty, I thought whe was going to the bathroom. Then she got dressed to go to a p.a.r.t.y

mollie, where’s “home”?

Their stock is up 2500% in the last decade. Panera is a screaming success.

Meanwhile, back to Dr. Bishop . . . .

You’re right, I misread the map. I’ve lived here for 44 years but have never been to Peabody. I thought it was North Short but looked it up to be sure and misread google maps. I’ll have to pay a special visit to the IHOP there sometime.

^^ jym and mollie^^ My best friend from college is a speech therapist. After colllege she worked for the school district in CA and worked part time for a doctor’s office during the summer to help make ends meet. One day she was talking about one of her kids- a client who had problems saying the “R” for car or… party. They all came out sounding like cah or potty… She told me the parents were paying a lot of money for therapy but wouldn’t work with the kid at home and then complaining about the lack or progress that their kid was haivng.

Me, being the wise@$$ that I am, told her that if she couldn’t “fix” the kid, she could always recommend to the parents they move to Boston- the people there would never notice the problem.

Needless to say, this suggestion went over about as well as my other suggestion to her on another subject earlier in the year- give up your conscience for lent. She was having a hard time deciding what to give up for lent. Since I am a lapsed protestant… I asked her what the criteria was for lent. She told me- it has to have meaning, something you don’t take lightly, something that you do a lot of, etc. I suggested giving up her conscience and not to let anything bother her for 40 days. … Yes, we are still friends- going on 29 years. and yes, to those who are religious… I was just kidding.

As for the kid with speech problems- She’s a lot more PC than I and chose not to make that recommendation to the parents. Eventually the kid was able to say her "r"s.

^^ Love your sense of humor, chuckle!! I used to ask people if they gave up things like brussel sprouts for lent (I am jewish- what do I know?)

I give up Catholicism for Lent. ;)

Getting back to the melodrama at hand! Given the recent situation with AB’s IHOP victim, it could be that dr. B took one look at this woman at her table and deemed her to be a social and intellectual inferior. thus she demanded the kid’s booster chair because she and her kids were clearly superior.

^^ jym^^ tell me about it. I was soo clueless when I went to college… There I was- a never to go church protestant going to a catholic college. It was small and 500 miles from home, what more could an 18 year old ask for?

Anyway about 3 months into school … on a Friday… I was sitting with my friends eating dinner and wondering outloud “why the hell do we always have fish on Fridays? I can’t stand fish!”

Needless to say, you could hear a pin drop at my table. Luckily my friends have never let me forget that moment. (I still can’t stand fish…)

I’m sure that producers, as we speak, are trying to decide what actress to announce as being part of their “Amy Bishop Project.” I haven’t figured out yet who it should be. Kathy Bates is too old. Just so it doesn’t end up being someone like Nicole Kidman with a fake accent.

Peabody is Northeast of Boston on Rt 128. There is a major mall there, presumably AB lived in Ipswich at that time which is a few towns over and may have gone shopping in Peabody and stopped for some food at IHOP.

People should be able to pronounce Gloucester if they have seen the movie Perfect Storm.

Yes, but Nicole Kidman already played an American psychopathic narcissist. Too blonde for this role though…Hmmmm, who could it be?

How about this lady? She kinda looks like Amy B, and she has recent experience in the murder dept [Wife Jane Laut to Be Charge With Murdering Former Olympian David Laut - AOL News](<a href=“News, Politics, Sports, Mail & Latest Headlines - AOL.com”>News, Politics, Sports, Mail & Latest Headlines - AOL.com)

What I don’t understand is that her current FBI file STILL does not show the IHOP incident. Did her mom pull strings to keep that out somehow, too.

BTW…one of the victims is doing really well. Two are still in critical condition from being shot in the head.

Good question. Why is the IHOP incident not in her criminal record? Does certain small criminal charges get automatically dropped from background check after certain amount of time?

Next I want to know what people who went to high school and college with her thought of her.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - One of the survivors from that tragic day is talking about what happened inside that room.

At one point, this victim was actually staring down the barrel of the gun.

Less than a week after the horrendous shooting, Dr. Debra Moriarty is back at work and recalling the shooting that left three of her beloved faculty members dead and two fighting for their lives.

She said it was towards the end of the faculty meeting Friday.

She looked down for a moment and looked up to see Amy Bishop Anderson firing at faculty members.

“I dropped down under the table we got down and I crawled across the table and grabbed at Amy’s legs and she sorta shook her leg free from me and I started yelling at her Amy don’t do this. Think about my grandson, think about my daughter . You know me. I helped you I’ll help you again. Amy don’t do this.”

She she said Amy Bishop Anderson said nothing as she pointed the gun in her direction, but the gun did not fire.
