Should I apply to BU EDII?

I have a chance to switch my application from Regular Decision to Early Decision II and I’m having trouble figuring out whether I should do it or not.

I wouldn’t consider it my dream school or my top choice, but it’s definitely in my top 3. My “number 1” would probably be UCONN but only because I applied to their special program in Medicine (although, I’m not sure I’m fully qualified to even get accepted to the program). But BU also has a great pre-med program (as far as I know). Otherwise, I’d rather go to BU.

I really wouldn’t mind going to BU, but what if I get accepted to UCONN’s Medical Program?

I’m really getting to a point where I need to know where I’m going, and if I apply EDII, I’ll get notified in February, as opposed to March/April.

Depends, is money a main issue for you, if it is I’d say go Reg Decision so that way you can compare financial offers… If UConn’s medical program is really big to you I would stay reg decision just so you can have your options open and not be binded. If none of that matters, ED.

Yeah, you’re absolutely right. I hadn’t really thought about that but BU is very expensive, and it would suck to be bound to it if they’d given me sub-par financial assistance. I suppose I’ll just have to wait it out. Thanks.
