Should I be worried about pestering my admissions officer?

Hey guys, this is something that's been bothering me quite a lot.

I got into UCB for computer science (yay!). But my admissions conditions said I was required to take a class called CIS 28. Although I had originally planned to take it during the Spring quarter, it wasn't offered.

Fortunately this wasn't a problem--2 emails and 1 phone call with my admissions officer (she's called Schant

if you don’t need the class i’m pretty sure you can just drop it w/o any problems…as to your brother, i don’t really know, but i’m pretty sure cal will want him to take courses, but he could probably just take the intro ones online and just quickly bs them and get A’s…and i’m sure you admissions officer won’t mind the questions

ummm…dude isn’t it their job to answer your questions about admission?? Since they are the only ones who could answer these questions with certainty, I don’t see any problem in you asking them as many questions as you’d like…maybe for questions about your brother though, you could just call main berkeley admissions line so it doesn’t seem like you’re asking your personal officer questions irrelevant to your personal admission.

OK, thanks for the encouragement!

@ foobarbar: I just went to Cal today to meet with my admissions advisor. If you think you are pestering your Advisor, lmao you should listen to this:

I’ve e-mailed my advisor over 10 times, called her, met with her today, will be sending her my appeal letter for fall instead of spring by Friday (ballsy, eh?), and she’ll continue hearing from me if they don’t allow me to switch to fall. It does seem promising though. She seemed to imply that I could probably pull it off.
