Should I even bother applying?

should I even bother applying to UCLA if my major is econ (not bizecon)? I've completed roughly 80% of IGETC, but for my majors I only have Macroecon done and 1 semester of Accounting (even tho its not required for Econ.) I'll be enrolled in Micro and Precalc during the fall semester when I apply. Therefore I'll have to take a semester of calc during spring and finish the 2nd semester of calc during next summer.

sounds impossible. no?

BumBumBum: You would have to finish the calc2 course in the spring, if possible. Many people got rejected from UCLA without completed pre reqs. Apply anyways, you might be an exceptional candidate that gets by. However, I would strongly advise you to find someway to finish the calc courses this year. If all else fails, I think you can apply for spring 09.

Bizecon and econ are in the same department. So if you apply to economics, you can always change to bizecon when you get to UCLA. I was told by the Tap coordinator, Oswanda Jones. Apply to whatever you like the most, straight economics or business & economics. Business economics like 4-5 management courses. Can't remember off the top of my head.
