Should I pay admission fees for Texas A&M now or later?

I was accepted to Texas A&M but I am still waiting on UT Austin’s decision.
I spoke with 2 people at TexasA&M and one said that I should pay for housing so as to secure on-campus housing. Someone else told me that I had to pay 100$ for the student conference and then pay for housing-- have to fully commit and then I can secure housing.

For those of you who have waited to hear back from colleges what did you guys pay for?

My DD is in the same situation. We paid for A&M housing within the first 30 days after she received her acceptance, and it did not require her to be signed up for a NSC.

Can you show me how you paid for housing? All I can find is the NSC page.

Access it through the Howdy portal…there is an on-campus housing link.

Since we don’t anticipate hearing back from UT for another month or so, we decided to play it safe and make sure she has housing covered at A&M, just in case.

I found this website and I clicked pay by semester for white creek
http://reslife.tamu.edu/onlineServices/apply

I kept going until I came upon the page that says I need to pay 300$ deposit in addition to the 50$ application fee.
did u just defer the deposit?

No, went ahead and paid since I can get back the majority of it.
