Should I pay the enrollment fee if...

So I got into UT (Communications: Pre-Journalism) but I'm not sure if I'm going yet. Should I pay the enrollment fee already (I think I'd probably get it waived though) and do the housing stuff and summer orientation stuff too?
I also got into Texas State (same major), so I'm really unsure about where to go because of the cost of UT, and I don't know how much financial aid I'll get and whether it will be enough. Should I do the UT stuff even though I may not go there?

I’d definitely only pay if I were a 100% sure, so wait till financial aid comes out to decide. As far as the housing goes you can start that app without paying the deposit you just need to send in the $50 for the application and that reserves your spot:) Hope that helped.

Actually I’ve already had the $50 waived and I’ve already applied for housing (sort of), but my friends who are sure that they are going to UT have talked about housing preferences, and I haven’t done that or even seen anything about that on the My Housing page  oh and I’ve heard that UT will refund your enrollment fee if you decide not to go… but idk if that’s true

You don’t choose your housing preferences till you get your housing contract which only happens after you pay the enrollment deposit and the 50 housing application fee. If you got the housing application waived then I’m pretty sure you can ask for an enrollment wiaver:) since you’ll get the waiver I don’t think you have to worry about the refund. Is Texas state your only other option besides UT as where you’re leaning to go to school in the fall?

I have the same question…bu i don’t have a waiver
