Hi sorry I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if this is where to post it but anyway....
My SAT score was a composite 2190 with 690 CR 730 W 770 M
I took the ACT without writing and I did comparatively worse on the math section but pretty well on the rest
33 composite 34 English 29 Math 34 Reading and 33 Science
I'm looking to major in Civil/Environmental Engineering (and possibly art, don't ask)
I applied to U Mich early action and did not send my ACT score
I'm going to apply to Stony Brook, University at Buffalo, SUNY ESF, UCBerkeley, Boston U, and possibly Cornell

I think you posted it in the right forum. If you want to send in your ACT, go ahead, because your SAT and ACT composites are pretty much the same. I would send the ACT especially if your SAT subject tests are poor because apparently, some schools look at the ACT science section as a substitute, or so I’m told. Overall, if you are willing to shell out the extra cash to send the ACT score, I would do it, since it might benefit you in a situation such as the one I mentioned above. However, that is a very niche situation and is by no means something that should be the sole factor in this decision. Talk to your parents, consider the costs, and look at the testing requirements for your colleges to make a prudent final decision.
