Should I submit my AMC12 scores?

Hey guys!

I’m looking at my application for Carnegie Mellon right now, and it has a page that lets me submit my AMC12 scores. I took it in junior year for fun and got a 79.5, which is technically above average but approximately 12 points below the cutoff for AIME qualifications. Should I submit that score, or should I just indicate that I plan on taking it again next February?

How do you know you got a 79.5? I thought the cutoff for AMC 12 is usually 100.5.

I don’t know about this one. I’m kind of interested as well since I think I was a couple points off of qualifying based on looking up the answers.

@rdeng2614 My teacher emailed us our results, along with the cutoff.

Oh, wait. I remembered wrong. The cutoff was 100. Whoops.
