should i take APES or AP stats?

I'm trying to decide between the two for my senior year. I've already finished precalc with a B 1st semester and A 2nd semester. Math isn't a strong subject for me and I honestly dont like it but will AP stats give me college credit for math? or am I gonna have to take calculus or some other math class in college anyway? I want to major in the humanities or maybe english, nothing math/science related. Since I know APES is pretty much a blow off course but I'm actually kind of interested in it. However I do still want to impress the colleges. and no there is no way I'm taking AP calc (as mentioned I hate math although I do manage to pull thru w/ decent grades) I'm looking into UCSB, UCI, and UCSD.

These are the courses im definitely taking tho
AP Gov
AP English 4
AP German 4
So for my last AP i just need to decide between AP stats or APES. I want a kind of chill senior year tho however whatever looks better for college...By next year I will have finished Honors Bio, Honors Chem and Anatomy/Physiology in terms of science.

I don’t know anything about how many college credits certain classes will give you, but I think you’ll be fine with either choice.
I haven’t taken Stat, but I heard that it’s pretty easy, and that a lot of it is calculator work, so I don’t think it’d be as hard as AP Calc or even Precalc.
I’m taking APES right now as a sophomore who is terrible at science, and it’s really not that bad. As long as I put effort in, I can maintain an A. Some of it is common sense, but I think that regardless of college, it’s a good class to take because it helps you be more informed about current events, since the environment has been a hot topic lately.

I think AP stats would look better…but I would still highly recommend taking AP calc since it will show that you are well rounded even if you aren’t going into a math/ science field.
