Earlier this month I realized I still have about 950 dollars left of tuition from financial aid and all. When I emailed my school about it, they said they would send me refund to help cover that cost, and was given that amount.
I am aware that you have to pay back this money in the future with interest if I’m correct. Should I use it all or just a certain amount with the help of my parents to cover what is left? Thank you!
You could use this money to reduce the loans you take for next semester or next year. Or, you could put it in a CD or something to earn a little interest and use that to help give you a cushion when you start paying your loans back. You could keep it in an account and use it for books and other school expenses. However, whatever you do, don’t spend it on non-school related things. Good luck.
Not a CD, since that would tie up the money. Place it in an account and only use it for school related things as described above. As you know, it is not free money.
