I know its a silly question, but i've been wondering this for a while now. How do you guys get to the beach? Is there a way down by the cliffs, or do you have to take a little detour and go around?
And is it possible to get down and back up on a bicycle?

Get back on a bike? Have fun. All you do is go to tenaya and cross the street. There will be a gate/opening there and just keep right. If keep walking for a few minutes there will be a closed off paved road to the left.. Just walk down that hill and it'll lead you straight to the beach. I don't recommend riding a bike...I walk down/up with a pretty big/heavy surfboard and it's doable.

dima (and others):

Don't try to climb down/up the cliffs themselves. Numerous people have to be rescued from the cliffs each year as the get stuck or slip. This assumes they survive. This is especially notorious of the cliffs at Black's.

The path indicated by Liux43 is the best bet and is safer and easier. It's really a nice walk.

Be aware that if you go down north for a few minutes on Black's beach, it is known as a nude beach. Just a warning. =D

just go down that path toward the right, goin to the left leads to the cliffs which can provide good sightseeing but i absolutely hate that right now because of 2BL =(
