it's a rare but not unheard-of occurrence for students to drop out of JC because they've been guaranteed spots at top universities. i remember a swimmer in jc a batch or two down leaving at the end of the first year and entering NS early because princeton assured him a spot. if you have no reason to doubt lisieux's (or his friend's) credibility, i'd suggest you cease implying otherwise.

S33D, it's up to you whether to believe it or not. But I know for sure he did drop out of JC and he did get to Harvard. He is my friend and I know him personally.

haha guys, this is soo cool. did he have like terrific stats or something... it just seems impossible to do only 11 years of pre-u education and get into harvard? I mean like, how did he fill up the counselor and teacher rec??? hahaha.

anyway i get it now. but how to we take it in singapore? through relc?

Yeah I get the feeling many Singaporeans might treat APs like more hardcore SAT IIs. To be honest I was trying to aim for AP state scholar but in the end I only took eight. It was enough for thirty credits though.

i have already done that. but U Mich and USC requires applicants to mail a paper version of the results, in addition to sending directly from collegeboard.

Is it necessary for Singaporeans to send in mid year grades if the school asks for them. My common test grades aren't that grade and it would be better if I do not send them in

I'm applying to upenn early decision but the subject test that i'm taking is only offered on 1 nov. the deadline of early decision is 1 nov. would they accept the application if i rush send it?
