Yeah - I got that note too. :)

i want a shirt!

why do only some people get them? is it the people that got accepted RD early?
i was accepted ED so they probably don’t feel the need to send me a shirt.

i was accept RD early, and i got a shirt and a note today! :)

I, too, was accepted RD early and got my shirt today.

I got a shirt too!

two sizes too big haha. But hey! Free t-shirt! :D

jmigs-Sorry…Smith tends to give EDers less love than RDers for the next few weeks. :(

it’s funny. the Wellesley likely was followed by a Smith acceptance two days later, and then another letter from Wellesley with an essay from an alum was followed two days later by the t-shirt from Smith. The timing may be coincidental (or maybe not) but it’s fun, I feel like Archie with Betty and Veronica fighting to win me over ;)

Kenzie, I like your analogy! My daughter was in the same position as you two years ago although at the time there wasn’t quite the same level of ping pong (no t-shirt, but what the heck, she got one when she arrived!). I’m glad you’re enjoying all the attention.

Jmigs, you are wonderful; don’t forget it. I do understand your feeling a bit left out. It’s just that Smith has to pay attention to those who may be on the fence. The fact that you are so clear that Smith is the place for you has allowed you the chance to enjoy the rest of your senior year without the stress the RDers are going through. Be thankful for that as this part of the admissions process is a real emotional roller coaster with all the acceptances, rejections and waitlists!

I got my shirt yesterday! Wayyy too big, lol, but I wore it to school today anyway :)

got a shirt too
though it was HUGE lol

Me too! Isn’t ironic that the shirt doesn’t “fit to a t”?

Lol, paulel, it’s Smith but not necessarily the shirt that is supposed to “fit us to a tee” I guess!

Does anyone know when RD candidates get notified of their decision online?

March 25th, I believe

Hello. I emailed Smith Admissions.

Good morning.
I was wondering when admission decisions will be posted. Will they be posted on the Banner webpage?

Reply
The Regular Decision letters will be mailed on March 25, 2011.

Does this mean it won’t be posted online. I know that for last year the decisions were posted online around March 21st.

Good Luck ladies, and congrats to those already accepted.

Hmm, this is indeed peculiar.

They post the decisions on line the same day that they mail out the decisions. So you should be able to access the decisions online on the 25th. They don’t release the decisions on the same day every year, it varies depending on the calendar day, the number of applications and so on, so it’s not that unusual that last year it would be the 21st and this year it will be the 25th.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to access your financial aid award online, you will have to wait until you receive the written letter. But you will be able to tell if you were accepted, waitlisted or declined.

Good luck everyone!

My daughter is also waiting on a regular decision application. Previous posts indicate answer to be posted on banner page. What is this? She has not received any communication with ID number or anything, just the initial email to say her application had been received. If the application decision becomes available online, she would like to be able to access it on the 25th. Two other girls from her high school class are also waiting, and it would be nice to find out at same time.

I received my Banner Web information on February 3rd. If your daughter hasn’t gotten that email yet, you should contact the admissions office.

I recieved mine on 2/3 as well.
