Don’t we hear back on March 31st?
SMU Admissions tweeted that Admissions packets were heading out the door this past Monday, so I’m hoping we’ll hear this week.
Oh, that’s so early! Has anyone heard back yet?
The twitter post said they were sending the packets in priority mail (which usually takes two to three days), so I’m really hoping we find out today! They sent some on Monday and some on Tuesday apparently.

Just received my admission packet at around 3 pm CST! I live in the suburbs of Dallas if that gives anyone an indication of when they should get theirs. It was hand-delivered. Good luck to everyone who applied 
When will CA receive decisions?
I received my acceptance letter today. I live in Plano, Texas.
Does anyone know when they notify you the financial aid award? Is it online or through mail?
D received her acceptance packet today – Houston area.
We’re in San Diego, CA. Still haven’t received the packet in the mail, but my D just received an email inviting her to an admitted students reception in our area. Hoping we’ll get the packet tomorrow, but if you’re outside of TX, you may want to check your emails. Congratulations to everyone!

Do they only send acceptances via mail or do they email?
They only send acceptances through the mail according to the admissions office when we visited, but if you got the invite to the admitted students reception, she’s admitted. It looks like those in TX are just getting their packets yesterday and today, so I’m assuming tomorrow or Monday for CA. Congratulations!

So if we didn’t receive an admitted students reception email yesterday are we out?
I wouldn’t necessarily think so! The email I had 16 receptions in different cities across the US, so it may just depend where you’re located and if there’s one close to you!
