Washington...major flooding. It's ridiculous my whole town is just about flooded in....had to walk through water nipple-deep. Should've just swam home...

What's a "snow day"???
Hahahahahaha

We have landslide days and fire days. Yay for SoCal winds and rains.

oh, and today was like 50-ish out
and everyone was freezing her ass off
because really, it's not supposed to be that cold here

by january, my school has ice on the picknick tables in the morning
which is very, very weird for The Valley. (As in Valley Girls. Yes, that Valley)

I live in Montana and I have never once had a snow day. Fair? Not one bit.

i live in new york.. and every other single school in my area got a snow day except mine.. we got a 2 hour delay.. i was so mad.. cause i was planning on a snow day, like i wasn't even doubting it at all.. seriously i called up my sister at college the night before and was like i have a snow day tommorow.. i was sooo mad. and idk why we even had school cause like 3 busses went off the road on the way to school..

We had a snowday today and it was absolutely perfect for skiing and snowboarding. It's nice snow that's fun to play with but does mess with the roads. And we have a late start tomorrow! Yay! (although the late start was already scheduled, but still, yay!)

Aw, you guys suck... we only got a one-hour-delay and that's only because students drive about an hour one-way to attend my school. My brother attends school in my city and he had a normal day.

I envy all you people who actually get snow days! I wish it snowed where i live :(

It was like 80 today....

luckies. in nj, we got all the snow sunday morning. and it didnt even stick

Yeah, in California we have fire days instead of snow days. I wonder what it would be like to have a snow day...

I live in upstate NY and none of the schools near me got a snow day. Crossing my fingers for one tomorrow but I believe my hope is futile because the snow and high winds that were predicted for tonight have yet to start. :(

Yeah, you guys suck. I wish it snowed here in California. (much better then getting a Fire Day or a Land/Mud Slide day)

In Maryland, we get off for like 2 inches of snow. :D

YEEEEESSSSSS!!! They really didn't want to cancel school; we had a 2 hour delay for soo long, and our school doesn't even have a schedule for that. I don't think we've ever had one before.

I love snowdays :D

Snow day? What's that!? jk.

Here in Florida we have hurricane days. Being that hurricane season ended 4 days ago, no more free days off school for us. Unless we get some unseasonably cold weather...like snow, HA! It's upwards of 80 degrees now.

*** it was snowing this morning and I mean, it stopped by 10ish, but we totally shouldve gotten a 2 hr delay
=(

I'm in southern New Hampshire and we got a fair amount of snow, and it's definitely sticking well so far. I love snow days, but the best are flood days. Some genius built our school right on a river, so every April we get two or three days off because the roads are so flooded, and the government always 'pardons' flood days so we don't have to make them up at the end of the year. They're the best!

ha my school is also right next to a river. may 2006 we got an entire week off because the parking lot flooded

ps. i got a snow day monday too..and i really needed it!

i think this yr's gonna be much colder than last yr. that means more snow hopefully!

an unexpected day w/no school is better than any regular day off school...i like the thrill and excitement that come w/it. so i can procrastinate just a little bit more and sleep till the sun shines on my @ss! lmao
