<p>Shoreland has a lot of room, so if you hand in your housing thing pretty early and have it as your first choice, there's a good chance you'll get it. Keep in mind that the rooms are all very different. Some first years have huge rooms with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and dining room, a kitchen, and a hallway while other first years are in forced triples. The atmosphere is one of a kind, though, and you'll definitely have a private bathroom.</p>
<p>BJ does indeed only have community bathrooms, but consider the fact that you might have 8 or less people on your floor, so the bathroom sharing problem isn't really a problem.</p>
<p>How common is it to get a BJ double? I put S-H, B-J and Max P as my top three choices, and I'm kind of worried that I won't get into S-H because it's so popular. And I'd rather live in a dorm with a community bathroom. Cleaning toilets is icky.</p>
<p>there are VERY FEW doubles in all of BJ. the likelihood of you getting it is minimal, especially since there are people who elect BJ and request a double.</p>
