So how exactly do we view our decisions?

@R…
The magic of a laptop and wifi. :)

Yeah, but…kiterunner - you ALLOWED to be “on” all day? My child has no access to e-mail at all…not even via cell phone (well, they DO cheat that one). How do y’all have such great stats if you’re online all day? (just curious…it AMAZES me).

Never mind, I just got the email 2 hours ago. Has anyone STILL not gotten it yet? That probably means you got in?

I still haven’t gotten it. Doubt that it means I got in:P

Okay, still don’t have the email…

Anyways, can someone please explain to me what the justification is for the thought process that no email = potential acceptance?

That is completely ridiculous.

^It makes no sense, whatsoever. We will have to debunk this myth once we get our decisions!

I am an international applicant, and I just got the email. To all internationals, you should be getting the emails soon. So do not worry!!!

Yep got mine today too, a while back! I think international students was one wave…

got mine today at 10AM, live in pennsylvania

Still not, the netherlands. Not at all worried or anything

I’m from the midwest. Still havn’t gotten it

Oh wow, this thread blew up. I’m SURE that the time of receipt of the email means nothing (I got mine at 10:40 last night).

neonseri and iabin: It’s interesting that you’ve found the Princeton admissions office to be unresponsive. I know that when I called about something I wasn’t sure they had received, they told me not to worry and then later actually left a message on my home phone telling me they had received it, which I thought was quite nice.

got mine at 12 pm… hmm. though i doubt this means anything really.

Still nothing, from the Pacific Northwest

try contacting the admissions office. calling them is the best way. they rarely reply to emails

Okay this is weird: I am from The Netherlands and Guiltybystander, another CC’er, is also from The Netherlands. She received an e-mail from Princeton, but I didn’t. I’m giving up hope… I am watching Finding Nemo to console myself

^
awwwwwwww… would you like a copy of the email?

Haha, thanks! Luckily I can figure out how to view the decision;) I think I know what the outcome will be though…

Hahaha, JJ, don’t obsess about it, it is just the most generic e-mail ever. I’d be rather surprised if they would only tell accepted students how to check their application status!

In case you were wondering, I got the email at around 5 today!

In attempt to console myself, I thought that maybe they don’t know my decision yet? I know, it would be weird if they would only send the mail to accepted (or rejected) applicants.
