So how much did you spend this college app season?

It's February 1st! The big college app season is close to wrapping up!

How much money total did you spend on applying?

I didn't keep a clear record through the process, but I went back and did an estimation and it came out to around $800 for all the fees (application + score report). Ouch. But I suppose it's what I should've expected.

I applied ED and was accepted. I spent somewhere around $100-125.

If you include EVERYTHING (SAT, SAT IIs, score reports, AP exams, application fees, CSS profiles, a few college visits, the coffees I bought at interviews, the gas used/car maintenance paid for to travel to tests and interviews), it comes to well over $1000, probably approaching $2000 once I visit a couple of colleges this spring. And I only applied to six schools!

$2.50 for coffee at an interview, which my interviewer tried to pay for.

I <3 fee waivers.
