So should we actually expect decisions on Wed/Thurs?

Saturday? Never heard of mid-terms on the weekend. Mine start on Friday.

Yeah, I go to a private school... and they can do whatever the fu ck they want. It kinda sucks. Good Luck! I dont know how I will be able to make it though an exam with all of this college anxiety.

the name of this thread is "so should we expect decisions on wed/thursday?"
well, today's wednesday.
haha.
:</p>

Does anyone know if they really sent anything today? I posted about it on the forum but still waiting hear back.

Oh I am so glad I found this forum, im bookmarking this post until i get my letter from nyu. ive been a nervous wreck waiting for my letter. guys ive been stalking my mailbox for the past week (just in case) haha

Hey guys,
Im an international student and as far as im concerned no one i know has received an email but i guess ill find out before you people in the US so as soon as i know ill let you guys know, but so far no luck...

Its a good thing you cant refresh a mailbox....because my mouse button is on the verge of being completely used up.....

Hahahahaha very true. very true. Well apparently the ED's for NYU are at their record height this year and this just makes my nerves jump twice. Where is everyone from?

record high?
i thought there was only a 1% increase from last year?

i'm right outside DC.

I read in an article it was around 3,000 kids, which they claimed "is a record high" but then again newspapers may exaggerate .

Well, last year they had their highest number, so even if they just went up by 1 or 2%, technically that is a "record high".

Just so you all know the exact stats, the NYU news paper said the following: "The number of early decision applicants is up to 2,936 prospective students, a 2.3 percent increase from the class of 2012."

The whole article is here: Washington Square News - Early decision apps swell despite crisis

^ Wasn't there some sort of problem with that article though? Like that the Class of 2012 actually had slightly more than 2,936 applicants?

I dont know... could be, I just found this on the internet.

Here ya go guys, just to keep you update on what they're saying:

Just to be sure... - Topic Powered by eve community

Lets hope they're right. Friday instead of Monday or Tuesday please!

^ I think that was the best answer I've ever heard. All those student workers in the office give out the craziest answers

Thanks wicked... that made me feel better. The thought of waiting until late next week freaks me out.

Aww man....now I'm REALLY starting to get nervous. I don't know what I'll do if I don't get in. I mean it won't be the end of the world but I just don't wanna be going to college somewhere else, wishing that I was at NYU the entire time. These next days are going to be intense esecially Friday and Saturday since it could potentially arrive one of those days. I wanna cry!

So if everything is being mailed today does that mean I get my email today!!!!!

Majorly freaking ooouuuutttt

wow, friday can't come fast enough...

sigh

currently sitting in the library not eating lunch

blejhh
