Some questions about registration...

First off, are the classes that are currently available on the Class Planner/Class List the only classes that are going to be available or is it likely that there will be more lecture/discussion times added before the 20th?
Also I've been looking at ratemyprofessors.com and CAPE along with using the class planner but have pretty much only been able to make 2 schedules; one with terrible professors but great times and one with the best professors but my classes are all over the place (9-10 MWF, 2-3 MWF, 4-5 MWF, 3:30-5 TuTH, 12-1F, and a late night discussion and lecture Tu/W). I'm not exactly a morning person but I think I can manage 9am one three days. So basically what I'm wondering is if it's worth it to have classes spread out throughout the day to get good professors or to just deal with bad professors and get all your classes over with (something like 11-3 everyday) so you have more free time.

the classes available is what's available. they will add more seats for certain classes (chem6a, math10a, math20a), but what's there is what's there.

depends on your registration date. you won't get all good professors unless you get to register on the first day. you won't really know what works best for you in terms of scheduling classes (it's not like high school) until you experience it. some people like to have a little break between classes. i like having them one after another because it's more of a guarantee that i go to class (i.e. i'd miss two classes instead of one by taking that nap in the middle). i'd recommend the good professors plan if you can get those classes in that order. a good professor can make studying easier and the coursework more interesting, which helps especially for your major/field. stay away from bad professors unless there's a conflict that cannot be avoided (i.e. you MUST take this class, but it's only offered at one time, and another class you MUST take as well is offered that same time and some other time).

be sure to have back-ups for every class during registration and good luck!
