I am an international applicant of 2014 fall. I just checked my status of University of Wisconsin Madison on the website and found that my application is denied. The reason the admission gives is that I did not submit my required application materials prior to the deadline. I submit my Education History on the 8th, March. That time I was very afraid of being too late to complete my application. So I asked the officers by email. And told me that the requirement would be marked complete in the near future and I should hear a decision by the end of March in the email. I heard from others that the materials deadline of UWM is 11th, March. I have submit all my materials prior to the deadline. What is the problem? What should I do? Is there any latitude?

Is there anyone help me?

Now I am really nervous! Someone helps me out, please!

People do not know what I mean?

Contact that admission counselor again.

@dyiu13, good choice. thank u.

No one knows why an admissions office denied you; your desperation suggests that you didn’t apply to other schools? The only one who knows why you were denied is the school. You need to contact the school with the last person who sent you the email, and ask them if all materials were received. If the materials were received, then the denial wasn’t for a lack of time or deadlines, but that they couldn’t accept you based on their selection criteria. Remember that thousands of students apply every year and a number of these won’t be accepted to their first choice schools.

@aunt bea. I applied for eight schools. But UWM is my dream. They received my materials before the deadline. There must be some problems. But, I think, if they could not accept me based on their criteria, they could reject me.
