<p>Southwest has fares on sale this weekend (book by Monday) for travel from Dec. 13 - Jan. 5.</p>
<p>I was excited, but fares don’t seem fantastic especially for non direct</p>
<p>I have been watching the fare sales from SW for a while for the Birmingham to Chicago and the current sale matches the best fares I have seen over the last couple of months. However, I did get a better deal for some flights I booked this summer for travel this fall.</p>
<p>Looks like DS has hooked up with a guy from Downers and will be driving (DS’s car) home to ChiTown for the Christmas break. Just FYI I’m sure they’ll be looking for a third driver.</p>

<p>Delta actually has a better fare sale than Southwest going on right now. At least for lil bro flying from BHM - PHL. Can’t beat $238 round trip.</p>
