Had a quick question for current students. I have taken spanish 1 and 2 this year at USC, and was planning on taking spanish 3 this summer at a community college so I can get my foreign language requirement out of the way. But another student just told me that even I take spanish 3 at a community college, (which according the the articulation office satisfies Span 220) and pass it, I will still have to take a spanish placement test next semester when I return to USC. Does anyone know if this is true? I thought that as long as you have three years of spanish that transfers in as meeting the spanish language requirement, you did not have to take the placement test.
Any help is appreciated,

I don't think you have to take a test when you get back. Definitely check w/ an advisor first.

i'm in the same situation...don't recall my advisor saying anything of this nature....it would totally suck though
