I am senior applying to college this month. I was planning on taking the sat subject tests on December of this year. A parent passed away two days before and I was unable to take the test. I am trying to catch up in school work and I have not been able to study for my subject tests for january due to the fact that if I do not make up all the work I missed before the end of the quarter I will fail or have incomplete on my transcript. If I applied to a school without sat 2 subject tests and my guidance counselor attached a note explaining these circumstances and why I couldn't take them, would schools that require subject tests consider my application anyway in light of the circumstances? I have SAT 1's, just not subject tests cause of the situation. If anyone knows whether this scenario is possible or any advice on what to do your insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If your counselor explained the situation in her report then you should be okay. Good Luck
