@cls4763 , it took about three weeks for COLA, but for the rest it took more than 4 weeks.
I also went in review for Cockrell

Does anyone else have an unrealistic optimist inside them that insists this might be the year that UT release decisions way earlier? Lol…
I went into review when I checked today too! I picked Neuroscience as my first choice and Psychology B.S. as my second choice. Good luck to all!
Mine is in Review as well. My major choices are Applied Movement Science and Physical Culture and Sports. I have 71 hours transferring as well. Good Luck to everyone.
My GPA updated from 0.00 to the actual number. I guess they just needed to process it!
@Armtin Does that mean that COLA applicants would know in 3 weeks?
@liberalguy97 which GPA? Are you referring to in the biographical info section of the scholarship form? If so, do you have two different GPAs, a GPA for transfer GPA, AND cumulative GPA?
@britni12 I only show the transfer GPA. Am I supposed to have a cum. GPA as well?
@liberalguy97 From what I understand, no. I am under the impression that the cumulative GPA is the GPA at UT Austin, which should be 0.00, as we are all new students.
@liberalguy97 , maybe even sooner because, as I saw from last year thread, the first ones that got their answer were the COLA applicants
It does appear, in comparison to last years thread, that we were in review about a week ahead of last year.
I applied for fall 2016. I am in the process of completing the required 30 hours and will have 31 hours completed by the end of the semester.
Will I still have a good chance even though I will not have the required 30 Hours till the end of this semester?
Does anyone know when the Cockrell transfer students heard back from UT last year?
@DaveCloud last year was a disaster, they got their answers mostly in June. but on the other hand, the 2014 Transfers started to get their decisions in the middle of April
@Armtin An April decision would be nice… I can’t imagine waiting until June. Leaves no time for finding housing…
I’m in a unique situation and I could use some help. I’m currently a freshman at the University of Alabama, I have applied to Texas and am like everyone else awaiting a decision. First semester I got a 3.73 GPA; however, because of my dual credit classes in High School, I really have a 3.3 GPA with 32 credits. I submitted solid essays, I have two letters of recommendation(One from a teacher who was also ran a performance club I was in and my second one is from a priest), and I also have a strong resume. My intended major is Radio-Television-Film. Can anyone tell me how bad my GPA will affect my chances?
@bts415 I would assume that the application reviewers would see that the reason your GPA lowered was from dual credit. I do know that Moody is a pretty competitive college, so it may come down to your essays making you stand above others.
Are you getting the 3.3 GPA from the financial aid-scholarship app info?
Yeah, from the Transfer GPA
@bts415 I’m not sure if when reviewing apps they look at both GPAs, I would think so, as your transcript GPA is a more accurate telling of who you are as a student. If they only consider the transfer GPA, I think you may have a tough time. I’m not meaning to bring you down, it’s just Moody is difficult to get in to. If you get rejected, I would advise you to submit an appeal explaining your actual college GPA Is much better, and that they should consider that
I’ve been denied.
My stats aren’t great - trying to return to school for a sencond bachelor’s in ME.
So, at least some of y’all should be getting your decisions soon! Good luck!
@nahenry1 I am also applying for ME
Do you mind posting your transfer GPA?
