Spring Visitation Weekend [4/3 - 4/6]

okay, cause i emailed them thursday.

Yeah, I was starting to get worried by Friday...I was a complete spaz by Saturday morning.

I Haven't Gotten An Email!

Really? I got a reply today within 2 hours of sending it.

yeah, i just got my reply.....

Just curious, where are you all from?

Houston, texas! sucks so bad.......

Hometown is Long Beach, CA though

small rural town in Eastern Kansas.

Aww I remember posting on this thread last year.

I went to Spring Viz last year and I loved it. I'm currently a freshmen here, just procrastinating on a midterm paper. Feel free to ask any questions about Spring Viz

out of curiosity, is the host a senior?

and what happens to his roommate, if we're staying there

Your host won't necessarily be a senior- my sister hosted her Sophomore year.

Just a question, someone said something about minorities, is everyone who received this letter a minority?

I sure hope so :(

believe everyone who received a letter is a minority. it's like their recruitment trip or w/e. pretty sweet deal lol.

ok cool. Congrats to those who got it!!

I JUST got back from the first round of Spring Visitations last Sunday [they have one for Early admit minorities, one for RD minorities, and one for make-ups]
I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. Notre Dame was not high on my list AT ALL. I applied only because I was bored in my computer class and had nothing better to do. I got in, and [at the time] had no idea what an honor it was. I went on the trip simply because it was a weekend away from home.

The trip skyrocketed my opinion of ND and it's rank on my list of colleges. I'm actually starting to hope I don't get into the Ivies, so that I wont have to turn down ND. Even if I DO get in the Ivies, I still might not turn down ND. I made some GREAT friends in the span of 4 days. I went to classes, ate GREAT food (from the dining hall, and the catered events they had for us), went to a hockey game against Ohio State [pretty much the deciding factor...the school spirit gave me chills..."Goooo IRISH...Beaaaaat Buckeyes...Suck It Buckeyes! GO IRISH GO!"] and went to some amazing dorm parties [dont let them fool you, they are throwing them to get you drunk and convince you to come lol]

It was, once again, one of the best things I could have done. No place is like ND. No place. I strongly suggest you go.

And from everything I heard from them, yes, if you get invited to RD Spring Vis, it means you are in =) Congratulations, and welcome to the family!

wow Lizzie I am so jealous!!!! I wish I knew now if I were in :(:( this wait is killing me!!
