free response questions on BC killed me...and the saddest part of all, it wasn't because the problems were that hard, but because the time was too short (or too fast)....
by the time i finished doing my part a) and b) for #1, i had only 15 min left for the c) and other two...so i only half of the each quetion...sad...

although the curve is very generous, i would still consider myself lucky if i get (-10) on it :)

i tried to limit my use of calculator as much as possible (i hate arithmetic, but im in love with algebra)....and i was trying to write as neat as possible, and explain every step...until i realized that if i continue to do so, i will not be able finish a single problem..
yeah...

i feel that i dont deserve to go to SSP anymore (yeah, right; like i did before)...i feel so stupid :)

Since when have APs been an accurate indicator of general aptitude and life skills?

I think APs get more attention than they deserve on CollegeConfidential. There is soooo much more we could be doing in high school, rather than studying for some tests created by sadistic Collegeboard administrators.

AP Calculus is quite possibly, the biggest waste of time I've ever encountered. I regret spending even half of the time I spent studying for it, as I could've been doing something else (like Robotics Research). You'll probably get a 5 on the exam...and if not...well screw CB.

The fact that you got into SSP speaks for itself.

but hriundeli, ARE YOU CRAZY?! have you done any practice tests or calc free-response problems!!??

you do not need to explain anything unless asked!

wow you should retake the test if you did not get a 5, since you probably could have gotten a 5+ if you knew what you were doing test-wise--because im sure you know your calc

"Oh man did you see that? Red Wings being up 2-0 after two periods had me thinking "Oh crap...this is over." But oh no, Oilers come back to score FOUR in the third period.

Boo...Anaheim..."

Nope, I live in Singapore so I couldn't watch it.. But I did listen it on the internet radio as i studied for the stats exam that day..

As for AP tests... Calc AB (juniors are only allowed to AB here at my school) form B was incredibly easy. Stats form B was alright, question 6 was pretty hard but not as hard as the one on form a from what my teacher said... AP Lang was pretty nice-- two argumentative essays! Also AP US which I took today was alright.

Btw, JM Pham, are you coming to SSP or did you go last year?

well, if you're planning to become an astronomer (radio astronomer, for example), then you'll have plenty of chances to spend not only month, but a whole year there :)
