SSP Acceptance??

<p>Well, I know that the admissions and acceptance have changed dramatically since my year, but what I can tell you is this:</p>

<p>About half to two thirds of my class was from the late deadline, and I got my mail about a month or so after the deadline. If by confirmation email you mean something they send you to tell you they got the application, I think thats a new thing.</p>

<p>As for people off the deferred list getting in. . . if the deferred list is the same thing as the wait list, then absolutely; I got in off the waitlist, so its definitely possible.</p>

<p>Don't despair if you don't get into SSP! I was rejected last year (was at a new school and did not know the teachers well enough for good recs) but I was accepted into Caltech this year!</p>
