We’re embarking upon our final 48 hours guys…hopefully…? I don’t think my mental and physical wellbeing can take an extra four days to confirm my pending doom.
@Mysonsdad good logic, but others (including last year) did the same thing with no change from stanford, so they’re probably just leaving it for later
Just plan for the 15th so that you won’t be disappointed if they come later than friday because there’s a pretty solid chance they won’t be out so soon
@nonzie Yeah if I were a betting man I’d say it’s either the 14th or 15th. They had score delays with CB, and the ACT reinvented their writing section so that took longer to score and send, too. I assume this must’ve had some effect on Stanford’s normal timeline of assessing apps, since I think most colleges don’t begin evaluating us until all of our materials are in.
From the Class of 2019 here, just wanted to remind all of you that no matter what happens you will get to where you belong, whether that be Stanford or somewhere else. I understand the stress of early action, in my case I was deferred (not by Stanford, another one of my former top choices) and it was an extremely emotional and stressful time for me. But everything turns out ok, college is what you make of it.

I know we were all waiting for it to be this friday but i haven’t heard of anything except that it’ll be by tuesday and I’m pretty sure i read somewhere that it won’t be during the weekend, hence it could be friday, monday, or tuesday
I have a feeling it might be Monday now… with the score delays and Friday being a whole 4 days before the 15th this year… Man, I’ve been majorly banking on it being Friday too.

I’ve told everyone that I know that it’s Friday. I’m gonna got so many dms asking me about it and I’ll have to say “oops, I told you the wrong date.” Great.
I just called Stanford’s admissions, and the rep told me that Stanford will let students know LATER TODAY or TOMORROW of when the results come out. I’m hoping it will be today…
