@educationfan - submitting earlier helps the AOs but does not increase the chances. But why this question now?
Man I keep telling myself that I’ll be okay if I don’t get in, but to be completely frank I’m really worried that I’m gonna take my rejection badly :/. I’m glad that this thread exists though, because I know that I’m not alone in my feelings
@alr33zy oh geez… HL Math and HL Physics??? How are you alive right now… good luck!!
@Cabothedog I’m in exactly the same place right now. I keep telling myself there’s no way I can get in… but I’m stilling holding my breath for Friday.
My problem is the fact that I am most likely going to end up with a C in Calculus and a B in Psych this semester. These are the only two non-A grades I have ever gotten, but I am super worried about college now. Even if I get accepted, I’ll have to send Stanford these grades and they could rescind their admission. But if the more likely scenario occurs and I get rejected, all of my RD schools will be making a decision based off of these grades so I am screwed either way haha
@MedSciBud My S applied to 11 schools. Stanford was the last one he submitted, four days before the deadline. I guess I am just curious whether it makes any difference.
@educationfan - IMHO every application submitted before the due date will be reviewed pretty much the same way. People have submitted at 11:58:59 and still gotten in. So don’t let this bother you or your S.
I’ve been keeping an eye on these posts and am just not commenting. Gonna be such a long 44 hours.
This is still going on, hahaha.
Am I the only one who is waiting for the results on Friday before submitting the rest of the applications? I have completed all my apps but I have only submitted to schools with adeadline before the 9th (UCs and USC). On the off chance that I somehow get into Stanford, I don’t want to have wasted hundreds of dollars on application fees for schools that I’m not even going to (not to mention money for SAT scores and additional transcripts).
I wonder how long the time between the last app decision and the moment results are released is.
Lol whoever made the timer set it to 3 AM on 12/9, not 3 PM
^^ Most people hold off on sending their apps until after their early decisions.
@dewrrrett same, i have no interest in wasting my parents’ money on unnecessary fees and another dozen $12 score reports.
Wait is there a certain way e-mails were sent regarding when results are released? (i.e. deciding who receives them?)
Were we supposed to have gotten emails from Stanford regarding the decision date and time? Or is it only through Twitter?
apparently some people have been receiving e-mails…
My bad, I’m the one who made it and set it to 3AM
here’s the fixed one

@Y2JRedskins I didn’t get any email, I’m pretty sure everyone just found out through the tweet and their admission page.
Out of curiosity, what attracts you to Stanford? Why do you want to go there? For me, it’s the atmosphere. It makes me feel so at home. And I won’t lie, I love its academics and it’s said to have a great science program, which doesn’t hurt a bit.
