Daughter’s backups are UCLA, NYU, and UWashington… Stanford is a long shot, but you never know! Good luck to everyone 
I was blessed enough to get into Harvard and Penn yesterday, but Stanford is my number one choice. Good luck everyone! Remember it isn’t where you are at, but rather what you do where you are at.
Conventional wisdom would have it that as more students apply to more colleges they end up with more acceptances which will in turn lower the yield of the colleges since each student can only register at one school. Yet, highly selective colleges are seeing their yield increase while at the same time they are able to offer admission to fewer students. Something doesn’t make sense.
My back up (and where I plan to attend, possibly even if I managed to somehow get in) is UMich instate
good luck tomorrow guys! remember if Stanford is where you’re meant to be you will get in. don’t stress or worry about what the decision will be because either if it is a rejection or acceptance you will do amazing things wherever you go!

I’m super excited and honored to be attending either MIT or UCLA in the fall. Stanford was always a longshot, so preparing for rejection. Good luck everybody! Thank god the whole admissions process will be over in less than 24 hours.
