Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

It's possible that:

Leia remembers her adoptive mother (Wife of Bail Organa)

Construction on DSII started before the destruction of DS1 (which is possible...)

:)

I think it is actually the first one because people always talk abuot Bail organa but not his wife.... so maybe his wife died young....

Heh...I got mad at Anakin when he killed the young ones. They were so cute...
Yeah...I just think he needs a therapist.

Ok, the voice of the "youngling" that talked was just annoying.

:)

I just saw it. It wasn't as good as I expected.

The droid general with the four lightsabers was awesome, though (Yoda was too). I thought what happened to Windu was one of the saddest parts of the move. :(

One thing that's always puzzled me is that Obi Wan doesn't remember R2 and CP3O in Episode 4. WHY NOT??? Maybe he forgot them?

But remember the youngling spoke for dramatic effect to express innocence.

Watch it ^

Hahaha, very nice.

:)

It annoyed me how they called the kids "younglings" for some reason. That being said, they were awesome at battling!

Okay, to attempt to clear up a few of the plot holes...

The Death Star issue: According to canonical books, the biggest issue with the first Death Star was perfecting the superlaser. That was what actually took forever and a day to get working. The second Death Star was also constructed at the height of the Empire's power, so it sort of makes sense that they would be able to do it faster. I mean, if they were constructing SEVERAL Super Star Destroyers like the Executor, imagine the manpower they had to make a new, better Death Star?

The Leia issue: The only thing I can figure is that Leia had a memory as a newborn. It is possible. Good explanation? No. Possible? Yes. Bah.

The droids issue: Obi-Wan never actually "owned" C3PO or R2D2. The question wasn't if he remembered the droids themselves, but whether or not he owned them. He didn't. He also had less interaction with them than Anakin did.

Also, it has been 30 years in seclusion for Obi Wan, and there are alot of droids that "look" like R2D2 and C3PO.

:)

About Leia: Remember that Leia seems to be quite in touch with the "living Force" much more than Luke. That might explain her stronger connection to Padme than Luke's.

If I remember episode two correctly, obi wan seems to have a distaste for both flying and droids.

Obi Wan actually didn't have a distaste for droids, but he does consider blasters "uncivilized."

The movie was alright. Christenten is the worst actor alive and did no justice to Darth Vader. His acting reflected more simple motivations for joining the dark side and never was able to encompass all the little details which lead to Anakin's decision.

Actually, the joining of the Dark Side never makes sense. If he only did it for Padme then it's amazing that he was still able to go on after finding out that she died.

One more thing: Lucas didn't give each scene the time it deserved. The best scenes were the ones where the movie slowed down a bit, like when Palpatine is talking with Anakin. Other than that the movie was too fast paced to have an actual effect on the viewer.

Plus, there was no personality. In the old trilogy we had people like Han Solo and Lando who kept the dialogue moving. Nothing of that sort in this movie. The love scenes were HORRIBLE. That one scne where Padme is combing her hair and Anakin is watching her. It was like

Anakin: You're so beautiful
Padme: I'm only beautiful because you love me.

WHAT IS THAT- i don't call that love.

Probably, it was just the fact that everyone kinda knew the ending of the movie.

2.5/5 would be my rating

Actually, it makes sense that he would just become an agent for Palpatine after the death of Padme...what else does he have?

Consider the passion with which he pursues Luke after he figures out who he is. He finally has something in his life other than being Palpatine's right-hand man.

I have to see the movies again. Because of this, I have a stupid question too: how does he figure out Luke is his son?

Supposedly, when he meets him in person he just "understands" it by name and feeling.

That, and by the time of Ep. 5, Luke is famous. And if you're Anakin Skywalker, you're bound to figure out something when you hear the name Skywalker.

lol... good point.
