Status Time?

<p>I submitted my application at the beginning of December; soon afterwards, "My UW-Madison" registered my status as "application received, waiting for transcript, etc." (or something like that). The status remained the same for an absurdly long period of time - especially given that the transcript and SATs had been sent before the application - until, two or three days ago, it finally changed to "an admissions rep is reviewing your application." For those of you who've been through the process, how much longer should I expect before a decision? </p>

<p>The reviewing post was up for weeks before she was accepted. Our daughter heard about 6-7 weeks after her app was considered complete.</p>

<p>I guess the later in the year you apply, the longer it takes. My son applied mid Oct., they received his transcript a week later, and he got his decision within a week of that. I suppose that at this point they're pretty backed up in admissions.</p>
